THe boys are good. We are deciding whether or not to put the Prince in kindergarten or preschool next year. He is 5 Dec 25. the cut off in CT is Dec 31. Any in-site on whether to wait or not? Just wonder?

Well, all is good around my neck of the woods. We are leaving in 8 days for a 10 day trip to Disney and Orlando. I am very excited. We are staying at the Beach Club Villas for 7 days and Hard Rock Universal for 3. I am nervous to be bringing the boys for the first time, but I am sure it will be ok.
Connor's first birthday will be celebrated Disney style!@!@!! We are having his party before we leave. This sunday is the party. I am excited, yet I can't believe he is one already.
We decided to hold off on TTC until this vacation because Epcot is having the Food & Wine Festival and I wanted to be able to partake. But, after that, it's full speed ahead.
Oh, Little man is waking up. I will try to post later.
Here's a few new shots of the boys.

The zoo was so much fun Animals were out and interactive. The place wasn't crowded! I got to see my best friend and her children. It was a blast!
Tonight I'm going out to dinner with a bunch of ladies in a Mom's club that I'm thinking of joining. I think it will help make me feel more comfortable in CT. I really want to meet/ hang with people who don't know my in laws. I am inendated with them and their lives. I need some time with other people who are just friends with me and my husband and son. Is that selfish? I hope not. I just need space. All of my close friends live 2 hours away. Some of the ladies tonight I know from Eddie's gymboree class. They haven't been to any get togethers yet either. Now that the weatheris getting better, I really want to get the baby out and with other people and children. It will help his socialization also.
I hope evryone is having a good week. Enough of my rambling!

Well
i'd just like to thank everyone for their input. I still haven't decided how to break the news to everyone, but it will all work out.
Little man goes to the doctors today for his 15 month check up. I go for my first OB on Monday. I need to say, I am soooo sick with this PG. I caN'T even drink coffee. My stomach turns on the drop of a dime. I get sick 3-4 times a day and I am queazy the rest of the time. I can't wait for this trimester to be over. Hopefully, I won't be as sick. It has proven to be very diffucult for me because when I get sick, the Prince gets upset. he doesn't understand. It makes me feel so bad. It's also hard to get things done and to play with him like I do. Anyways, just babbling on now.
I am catering an event on the 9th of April. It should be a good time. I am doing a tea/luncheon for 50 people. I have 5 people helping because it's table serive. This will be a first for me. All of my prior events have been buffet. I hope this leads to more accounts. I'd really love to get the business going. Unfortunately, I really need a facility to cater out of. You can't cater out of your home in CT. So far, I've just been doing it for friends or coworkers. I'd like to get a place within the year.

Well, I have a mixed report today.
First, you may remember me telling you that my my brother and his wife were pg. They were due 9-23. Well, Wed., they lost their baby. She was 12 weeks. Obviously, neither one is taking it very well.
Next, my other brother's wife went into early labor (35 weeks) and delivered a baby boy on Sat. He is in NICU because he ingested too much fluid. It is touch and go.
Lastly, Ed and I are officially expecting. We haven't told anyone(except you guys). We are so torn now. We don't know what to do as far as when to tell people. I am in my ninth week. We didn't plan on telling anyone until I was 12 weeks anyway, but I think that it will crush my brothers and sils. Does anyone have any advice for us?
BTW- we are due 10/17. I am thrilled because I always wanted an October baby. I am always cautious and know from persnal experience taht it is still early in my pregnancy and anything can happen.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, not much to report here. Eddie is sleeping after a nice swim class at the Y. I'm jsut being lazy and surfing the net instead of cleaning my home like I should be! We went to Vermont for the weekend for a wedding. it was very nice. I brought my lil' sis to babysit Eddie and my nephew. It worked out well. I miss planning the wedding stuff. Does anyone else?
i love weddings and showers. They are so much fun. Anyhow
not much else to report. I hope everyone is doing well!

Hi all
As usual, I'm doing a random drive by post. There isn't much to report
I have been working hard on the house. Yes, the endless project. We are doing well. Getting a lot of old projects finished. Next we are going to focus on Eddie's Big Boy bedroom. We want to have it ready for him by August. I also have been doing this "Flylady" thing. Has anyone/is anyone doing this? It's a form of cleaning and organizing your house. I have been a flybaby for about a year & a half, but i really started kicking into gear this last month. I think it's great. You declutter and set up a cleaning routine and so forth. Anyone who is interested she is at www.flylady.net
It has made a huge difference in my house and my attitude. I feel so much more accomplished and I am on the way to a decluttered, clean home. She does this 27 fling boogie which is a god sent. She also has a mantra..."You can do anything for 15 minutes". You set your timer for 15 min. and atttack your worst room. This has made the biggest change in my house.
Anyways
Not much else is new. On a personal note, my brother announced his wife is PG. She is due Sept. 23. They have been trying for a while (she has at least.) My brother doesn't seem to happy. I think he wanted to wait a little longer. but, what's done is done. I am happy!!!! I love nieces and nephews!!!!

Well, the little man is walking. He started crawling at 5 months, but took his sweet time learning to walk. He started to walk at 13 months, but really has just grasped the concept in this last week. He is getting big. I can't believe how fast time flies! hopefully soon I'll have new baby news!!!!

Dec. 15th, 2005 08:16 am Getting PG again

Well ladies, Eddie is almost a year old now. His party is this Saturday. We are doing a Prince theme. It should be fun. I sent out scrolls for invitations and addressed them to the Prince or Princess of the home. I mailed them in tubes so the scrolls didn't crush. On the tubes I put a photo of Eddie & the recipient. They were a big hit.
The little man is great! Amazing actually.... He is a pure joy. He is walking while holding onto one hand or wall. He says about 10 words. He's totally off of bottles (now sippy cups) though he still nurses in the morning. I pump for the rest and supplement with formula. i just started formula supplements 2 weeks ago. I plan on stopping pumping and switch to whole milk next week.
Anyways, too the next news. I got my period Tuesday (TMI) which means we are officially trying again. If I conceived right away, I'd have a baby around Sept 19. I am secretlt hoping I conceive in January because I'd love an October baby.
All of my shopping is done and I'm starting to wrap this weekend. I always save wrapping until the last week because it gets me in the mood and I love to wrap and decorate my packages.
Well, that's my long awaited updates. I'll have to post a more current photo soon.
I hope you are all enjoying your holiday season. Sorry I am soooo scarce.
